BLDC Motor Driver Wiring Diagram
This driver is designed with two input methods for users to choose from:
Set by the potentiometer (RV) on the driver panel: This setting method is suitable for machines operating at a fixed speed. When this function is selected, the 2nd bit of the DIP switch SW on the driver panel must be set to the ON position. Users can adjust the motor to the required speed according to their needs. Turning the potentiometer clockwise gradually increases the motor speed, and counterclockwise decreases it.
Set by the driver terminal (AVI): This setting method is suitable for machines operating with variable speeds. When this function is selected, the 2nd bit of the DIP switch SW on the driver panel must be set to the OFF position. The AVI port can accept 0 ~ 5V analog voltage commands or PWM pulse-width modulation signals from the upper controller, which is the same as common frequency converters. The input impedance of the AVI terminal is 100KΩ, and the current consumption is ≤5mA.
Only one of the above two control methods can be selected. When the panel command potentiometer is not in use, it should be turned to the minimum position (counterclockwise). Additionally, the PWM pulse-width modulation signal amplitude is a 5V TTL signal.
In practical applications, some customers choose 0 ~ 10V analog signals or 24VTTL PWM signals. This can lead to a very narrow speed regulation range. To accommodate this customer demand, users can also adjust the internal R40 potentiometer of the driver to obtain a linear correspondence between the command and the speed. The internal potentiometer R40 is located in the bottom right corner of the driver circuit board and is a blue multi-turn potentiometer.
